Discount tokens on a 3 day (mornings only) Basic or Advanced Photoshop course is also available for students after completion of a Fast Forward Course.
Beginners Photo Course: Learn how to use your camera, how to recognise light, understand composition basics and take better images. Aimed at the beginner photographer no matter how large or small your camera, this course will introduce the basic principles of photography so that you can head out with confidence to take better, more striking images with greater impact.
Intermediate Photo Course: Learn how to apply more control over your camera and your images. Control aperture Shutter speed, depth of field and ISO. Discover the creative applications of your camera; Improve your images with better composition techniques- complimenting background and fore grounds, patterns in nature and seeing in black and white.
Photo Workshops: Each of our photo workshops provide excellent opportunities for you to join in with fellow photographers and study, learn and gain new knowledge on wildlife and nature photography. Each workshop is divided into game drives, taking photos of wildlife, tutor sessions, informal discussions and feedback sessions.

The Extended basic photography course offers 2 extra Saturday workshops at a minimal extra cost. This course consists out of 12 sessions, incl. 2 x Basic Saturday morning workshops, 2 x Extended Saturday morning workshops (foodshoot and environmental fashion portrait) and an exhibition.

Mareli completed a National Diploma in photography in 1999, whereafter she traveled abroad and finished her B-Tech Degree in 2003 with Cum Laude. During her studies she has won the AGFA-Award for Best Portfolio and the EPSAC Annual Exhibition for Best on Show. Since then she has been part of numerous group-exhibitions in Cape Town, Port Elizabeth and Johannesburg, including the Sasol New SIgnatures Exhibition in Pretoria. Her Debut-Show was held at Dirt Contemporary in Cape Town, 2005. More of her work has been featuring in publications like De Kat, Itch and One Small Seed. She is currently teaching photography at Ruth Prowse School of Art, managing Fast Forward whilst planning & working on her next exhibition.
