Travel the world!!!! TEFL courses are now offered for South Africans who wish to travel abroad and teach English to foreigners. It is an evening part-time course which affords participants the opportunity to continue working while studying.
The school is run by Angela Pereira, School Director, who has been working for EF since 2004. Angela’s experience ranges from teaching English as a foreign language to sales to managing the EF Cape Town school since it opened in November 2006.
Ewelina Kamieniarz is the Director of Studies and she has an MA in Linguistics and is currently studying towards her DELTA qualification. Ewelina is a passionate academic director and her solid background in the EFL industry helps when assessing and helping students with their linguistic needs.
Joeline Barnato is their Accommodation Coordinator and she ensures that all students are placed in warm and welcoming host families and she also manages their Student Residence.
Joeline’s previous experience is in the aviation industry.
Craig Taylor is their Activities Coordinator who transferred from their EF school in Nice to Cape Town to help us ensure that our students have the very best tours and activities planned weekly. He also accompanies students on all tours, activities and evening outings.
All teachers are all qualified to teach English as a foreign language and they have all traveled abroad. This gives EF Training centre the unique advantage of understanding how students feel to be away from their homes and in a foreign country where the food, climate and culture are completely different from their day-to-day lives back in their home country.
EF Language School also offers unpaid internships in various areas; some examples include Marketing, Hotel & Tourism, Accounting, Legal, Art & Design amongst many other options. We are also actively involved in the community and offer various volunteering options for our students, during and/or after their course.
