Sense of Taste Culinary Cooking Course

Join Sense of Taste for a delectable culinary experience on our 4 week cooking course- on Tuesday evenings from 18h00 to 22h00. You will work in a fully equipped chef’s kitchen with your own workstation, equipment, a memento apron and all your ingredients and drinks for the evening. A delicious feast will be prepared and enjoyed by YOU each evening!

Culinary Lesson One – introduction to cooking, basic knife skills, cooking methods, sauces, mother stock, prepare and enjoy a Posh Nosh Chicken Dish.

Culinary Lesson Two – Seafood Fiesta! Learn how to clean, prepare and feast on the Fruits of Neptune including Smoked Salmon Salad, Prawns, Calamari, Mussels and Thai Style head and tail fish

Culinary Lesson Three – “Mama Mafia” including making Saffron Risotto with Herb and Sesame Crusted Norwegian Salmon, Gnocchi, Puttanesca with Linguine, Pasta preparation – and the best Napolitano ever!

Culinary Lesson Four– Preparation and cooking methods of meat, making the Perfect Beef Fillet with a Wild Mushroom Mousse together with Dauphinoise Potatoes and Finally how to make Sushi and enjoy it!

The four lessons will be R1700 per person which includes all your ingredients, a sumptuous feast each evening, drinks on the evening, a memento apron, the best possible cooking knowledge you could ever dream of and NATURALLY Loads of fun!
